How do I reserve a space on your trip?

To reserve your trip, a $500 deposit check made out to Anicò Italia is required. The deposit is fully refundable up to 90 days prior to the departure date.


When should I reserve a spot on your trip?

As soon as you are able to. Our last trip sold out within 48 hours of being advertised! We usually limit our guests to 10-12 people, and, because the number of guests is limited, we suggest that if there is any possible interest in participating, you let us know as soon as possible. We have a first come, first served policy.


Is it possible to sign up for a trip with a group of friends?

It is!  The first person to sign up for a trip will be given “first dibs” for 7 days to invite anyone she thinks might be interested in joining her. After this period, the trip will be open to all.


What forms of payment do you accept?

Currently we accept payment by check, Venmo, and PayPal. We also accept credit cards.


Is airfare included in the price of the trip?

No, airfare is additional. However, group airfare is available if there are at least 10 guests on the same flight itinerary.


When should I make flight reservations?

Flight reservations should NOT be made until the trip is finalized. Anicò Italia will happily assist guests with flight arrangements.


Do you offer travel insurance?

We do not offer travel insurance, but we highly recommend purchasing it. Allianz is an excellent travel insurance provider among many. Please be aware that COVID-related issues are often NOT covered by many insurers.


Am I protected against COVID-related issues?

Anicò Italia will cancel —and has canceled— any trips that guests are not comfortable taking due to COVID concerns as long as it is within a timeframe that will allow our vendors to refund expenses paid, at which time we will refund your money. In the event these expenses are not refundable, Anicò will offer its guest a credit that can be used toward a future trip.


What type of accommodations do you offer?

When in cities, we always stay in five-star, luxury hotels.  As we explore the countryside, we stay at the highest-rated hotels, villas, castles, and palazzos.


Do you take dietary restrictions into consideration?

Anicò Italia will do everything possible to accommodate any dietary restrictions due to health and/or religious reasons. 


What kind of activity level do you expect from your guests?

This depends on the type of trip for which guests have signed up.  Because our trips have a limited number of guests, it allows us to cater to the desires and needs of the traveler. Before leaving the U.S. and finalizing the itinerary, we send out a questionnaire that will enable us to adapt the trip to our guests’ activity levels.


What if I would like to arrive early or stay longer than the tour itself?

If a guest would like to arrive early or stay longer, we are happy to assist them with any flight reservations, as well as with hotel accommodations, tours, and activities. Additional cost will apply depending on the guest’s requests.
